Who we are
Castline is operated by the company named at the foot of this page, at the address given there ("Castline", "we"). These terms govern your use of castline.kodetra.com, the Castline Mac app, and related services.
Your account
You must be 18 or older and give a working email address. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One free account per person.
Recording and consent
Castline records the people in your sessions. You, as host, must tell every participant that they are being recorded and obtain any consent the law requires before recording. Guests see that they are recorded before they join. Audience members are not recorded. When you add the AI co-host, participants hear and see that an AI takes part.
Your content
You own what you record, upload and publish. You give us a limited licence to store, process (transcription, mastering, editing, translation, show notes, AI co-host) and deliver it (including your public podcast feed) only to run the service for you.
Acceptable use
No unlawful, infringing, sexually exploitative, hateful or harassing content; no recording people without consent; no malware, scraping, probing, or attempts to bypass limits; no reselling the service. We may remove or take down content (including a podcast feed) and suspend accounts that break these rules. Suspension keeps your data; contact support to appeal.
Plans and payment
Free, Creator (₹999 a month) and Pro (₹2,499 a month) plans, prices excluding GST at 18 %. Paid plans renew monthly by card mandate through Razorpay until cancelled. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades at the next renewal. Invoices or receipts are available on your billing page.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails we retry; your plan continues for a 7-day grace period (at most once in any 90 days), after which paid features are suspended and later cancelled. Your recordings are kept.

Limits
Each plan has the limits shown on the pricing page (session length, storage, transcription and AI minutes, and others). Service-wide daily capacity limits may delay processing.
Third-party services
We use service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Publishing to podcast directories is subject to their terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Castline available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change features; we will give at least 30 days' notice by email of price increases or material changes to these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Keep your own copies of important recordings.
Ending
You may stop using Castline at any time. We may end or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Panipat, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.
